Natalie Dadamio (b.1979) is a contemporary abstract artist focused on the experimental and expressive. Living and working in Upstate New York, her practice explores emotional and spiritual transformation through abstraction, mark-making, and process-driven experimentation. Her paintings and mixed-media works open raw, intuitive spaces where beauty and imperfection meet, revealing the depth of human feeling and the alchemy of change.

Dadamio was awarded an artist residency in July 2023 at AIR Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico, through the Jen Tough Gallery, which culminated in an Open Studios event. In November 2024, she completed an Artist Residency with the Broome County Council of Arts, culminating in her exhibition Draw It Out, which featured a large-scale drawing wall installation and a participatory community drawing wall component.

Her exhibition history includes the dual show Innovative Expressions (Orazio Salati Gallery, 2022), the solo exhibition Sentient (Pathway Gallery, 2023), and Beautiful Mistake (Cooperative Gallery, 2025), an immersive solo presentation that included an artist talk and community art experience. Dadamio’s work is held in both U.S. and international private collections.

As a recipient of a 2025 New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA25) grant, Dadamio presents her current exhibition Unbounded: Breaking Free From Traditional Constraints at the Tioga Arts Council, continuing her exploration of expressive freedom, transformation, and the dismantling of limits within creative process and self.
